Classic Roots, Vibrant Twist

The homeowners knew they wanted a clean and vibrant update for the existing 90’s Tuscan kitchen, while still honoring its classic roots.  The homeowner knew she wanted green cabinetry, and Sherwin Williams Billiard Green was eventually chosen as the perfect deep, rich green.  Polished nickel pulls were chosen in a longer size to balance the traditional styling with a more modern size.  White quartz countertops with full height backsplashes create a uniform palette for the transitional aesthetic.

The structural columns could not be removed, so they were integrated into the island.  Glass globe pendants symmetrically balance the island without blocking the view of the perimeter.  Comfortable and durable counter stools add texture and are convenient seating for the kids.  On the perimeter, the cooktop bump-out defines a focal area, framed with spice pull-outs, and crowned with a striking brushed metal and stainless hood.
